This wonderful project is very near to our hearts. Big Machine Label Group really believed that there needed to be a soundtrack for the documentary – and they were right! Why wouldn’t a soundtrack be released when the main subject is a world-class musician?
The album features six songs by Glen including the Oscar-nominated and Grammy-winning song, “I’m Not Gonna Miss You.” The Band Perry is also featured on the album with their Grammy-winning cover of Glen’s hit, “Gentle on My Mind.”
As of Monday February 23, “I’m Not Gonna Miss You,” is number one on iTunes Canada and the soundtrack is at number 6 on the album chart.
Ashley Campbell has two songs on the soundtrack as well! Now you will finally be able to hear the song Ashley wrote to her father, “Remembering,” in its entirety. It is such a heartfelt and heartbreakingly tender song! The other is a cover of one of her dad’s songs, “Home Again.”
I encourage all of you to give the entire soundtrack a listen! It is definitely inspiring to us!
